Youngsters design new CSE posters

Clive Grunshaw, Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner has launched a new poster campaign designed by young people to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation.

The new posters form the latest stage of the More You Know, the More You See campaign. They were designed by students from St Augustine’s High School, in Whalley who felt they were in a strong position to contribute to the designs, focussing on areas that they felt would resonate with their peers. Grooming and online gaming were the issues they wanted to highlight and the pupils showed a great deal of maturity and sensitivity in the creation of the new posters.

The campaign, which also uses the social media hashtag #knowthesigns,  is designed to reach out to help young people understand the risks, start talking, and recognise the signs of CSE”
